Welcome to Kent County Public Law Library's Website!
The Kent County Public Law Library is open to the public Monday – Friday 8:30 A.M. – 4:30 P.M. The library follows the same hours as the Courthouse. The law library is located behind the Courthouse at 103 N. Cross Street, Chestertown, Maryland. Please contact the security desk upon arrival to the Courthouse to access the library.
The Kent County Public Law Library provides information for the needs of court and government agencies, the legal community and the public. The law library provides access to federal, state and local legal resources. Staff do not provide legal research or render legal opinions. Assistance with research is limited to directing patrons to appropriate sources.
Library books and other materials may not be taken out of the library.
